Advent House desperately needs your donations of food, clothing and furniture, and can always use your financial contributions. If you can help in any way, please contact our office as soon as possible, by phone, mail, Electronic mail, or contribute online.


A Wish List of Items that the residents of Advent House use on a daily basis. We ask you to help "restock" Advent House's shelves. If you would like to be a part of "From Our House To Yours...", Please consider a Donation from the following list:

  • Toiletries (disposable razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc.)
  • Cold Weather Garments (coats, shirts, blouses, pants, slacks, mittens, undergarments, socks, etc.)
  • Toys for children ages 1 and up. Books for Adults & Children.
  • Paper Goods (napkins, plates, towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, etc.)
  • Dunkin' Donuts and McDonald's Gift Certificates

FACT: RI has more than 37,000 low-income families renting apartments, but less than 13,000 apartments that qualify as “affordable” for low and moderate-income renters.

FACT: 60% of Rhode Island households make under $50,000 and cannot afford to buy the median priced single family home in ANY Rhode Island community.
