Family Reunification Program

The Family Reunification Program provides a supportive environment for homeless single-parents residing in the Advent House SRO's who have been separated from their children. The supportive services are initially used for developing self-awareness and promoting self-development, and improving basic life skills.

First Step Program

This program formerly known as the Court Ordered Program, consists of individual men and women who are ordered to Advent House by a Judge to fulfill requirements of the courts in a supervised setting.

FACT: One percent of ALL Rhode Island children spent at least one night in a shelter last year (2004-2005). That rate is 50% higher than the national average.
